Bed and Breakfast Tauranga, New Zealand Walnut Cottage is situated on scenic Plummers Point Peninsula and we overlook beautiful Tauranga Harbour. We are a semi-retired couple who invite our guests to enjoy the tranquility our "little-corner-of-the-world" has to offer. Take a picturesque walk to the end of the peninsula with views towards Mt. Maunganui and Matakana Island or a 2 minute stroll to the waters' edge where you can relax and enjoy the peace of the estuary, fish from the jetty or just watch the boats dancing at their moorings. In the vicinity are mineral hot pools, fountain and quarry gardens, tramping trails, golf (spare clubs available), lawn bowls and eating houses. Our breakfasts include freshly squeezed orange juice (in season), a selection of cereals, yoghurt and home made jams and bread.  Our semi-rural retreat is close to Tauranga city, popular for its shopping, fishing trips and sightseeing. Walnut Cottage is a 1 bedroom self-contained Cottage. It has a queen bed, bathroom,  kitchenette and a lounge with TV.
